Paladin.TO - Looking for a Bounce

Paladin cut a new high on Feb 10, 2009 (Tuesday) at $2.94 moving more than 11 million shares of which almost 6 million of that ghosted through Level II in the first hour and 1/2 of the open without so much as a howdy do.

Huge blocks of shares on the Level ll tracker magically appeared after the fact, as trades that didn't show up on the ask or bid, except shortly after, as a record of the transaction in the tracker.

Crosses would be the descriptive word here.

I have seen this before, and when I do it always seems to precede a high or top. I find it hard to believe that traders in the know, are so caught up with greed, they recklessly jump in buying up thousands of shares in 50 K to 100 k blocks or more.

It seems that it is some type of manipulation/business as usual that is designed to sell into strong price. The result was a magnificent churn that is presently charting a consolidation pattern with support targeted in the $2.30 area.

In spite of the huge churn, the medium trend is still up and a buy the dip strategy is the action of choice.

For some Technical analysis in the Public favourites list...
PDN.TO is shown in two different formats.

The format to look at is the trading style with the... %b ... overlay on a shaded bollinger study. This type of trading system chart is explained here...

Kenuck SmallCap Trader Introduction

This is the first post to this off website, "Kenuck SmallCap Trader" blog. This blog is all about collecting links for self-learning individuals interested in becoming On Line Trading Charting Analyst would be'es, and in that direction a website depository for centralized reference was created. This link to that website.... "Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is embedded in this blog's home page in the lower right corner so it will be accessible at all times whenever someone may visit here...

Take a look at the other website work in progress.... " Kenuck SmallCap Trader" ..."Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is a portal built as a course project this year in college that would be a second for my own convenience, where objects of interest could be stored for quick access when I wanted to refresh my memory on certain subjects that were a passion. Flagging and following faster moving stock picks was an even better motivating reason to organize for better trading success.

"Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is a place for my own personal archives on interesting stocks. It morphed into a great place to store information about "On line Trading"... in a way that was never anticipated.

I think everyone should have a web interface. I also think you will find some very interesting links on Charting Analysis, and as well, a portal to links about website building in one of the pages.

"Kenuck SmallCap Trader"site is free... In the future there will be an area in the site for members only, and it will also be free. The pass worded area is just to keep a lid on certain considerations that, at this time have not have developed, but............ as particular developements are posted, the reason for members only would be to allow members to provide content in a private manner. For now all areas of the site are accessible.

You'll notice I use StockCharts as the first choice for technical charting tools, and that is because they are just simply, in my opinion, the best tools for the money. I am a StockCharts fan & subscriber since 2002. I have no other relationship with StockCharts other than being a member.

Links have been provided get to to certain parts of the StockCharts website and other sites that are in the public domain. These links are a matter of convenience for anyone interested that may like to explore the "On Line Trading" subject as these links get right to the point when learning stock trading gorilla style. Any of the links provided are directed at what will likely be your own desired focus, but in case they are not, StockCharts is a great place to play and these links will be great starting points for any type of interest in Charting.

"Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is a work in progress and I update frequently... (including spelling mistakes). My familiarity with StockCharts makes me want to link you to the most recent area of my updates at "Kenuck SmallCap Trader". I was gold digging in the StockCharts archives and found these gems.....
"Basic Charting" links. For the most part I think the subject of interest will stand out if you think charting techniques and individual stock watching. There are, however, other subjects in the StockCharts archived selections that may interest you as well.

StockChart's, Chip Anderson is publishing some of what should be, an interesting series on charting analysis and the link to that series is "Technical Analysis 101 - Part 1"

I gotta admit... he has great insight into the sentiment of today's market... The opening lesson was well prepaird.
