Your gonna have some fun charting
I'm not easily impressed when it comes to free stuff to get you to pay for better stuff, but when the free stuff is just downright great... I have to pass it on.... this next link takes you to a charting platform page which shows a list for a Canadian Stock scan... in the left panel... if not... of Nasdaq stocks in the left panel.... either way... click the one or the other to change it (or just select a stock from that scan) and select something you may prefer to scan for... once the scan completes......left click a stock ticker, and it moves to the chart...
Once that is done.. you can left click a ticker in the chart module, and from there you can chart anything you want... I set it up with some basic indicators... and the time line might be something you want to play with. Have fun!

You might want to favorite the page in the Favorites bar at the top of IE for quick surfing later.

LAQ.V
It was an ugly morning for a Wednesday.... again the list held support...
LAQ.V did particularly well... and as of this post Level II action is retail trader type only.... that I can see... and that will wash... the Ask at .10 cents is getting hit from the side... should bolster the sellers confidence...
If the .10 cent ask gests wasted... Level II is looking weak on the ask tiers above it.
Here's the real time chart....
If you see the hand... click on screen shots to enlarge them.

Bollinger Bands are a popular technical indicator for traders to determine overbought and oversold conditions. In a range-bound market, for example, it works even better as prices travel between two "rubber bands," or like balls bouncing off the walls.
But using the Bollinger Band as a sole buy/sell indicator isn't very smart. It's why we also use &b (percent b which shows where these touches may likely be located) and candlestick signals to help call tops and bottoms. "Tags of the bands are just that —tags, not signals. A tag of the upper Bollinger band is not in and of itself a sell signal. A tag of the lower Bollinger band is not in and of itself a buy signal."
And if you try to use Bollinger Bands by themselves, you can get stopped out or worse as prices "walk the bands" with direction. Again, it's why we use %b and candlesticks, too.
With Bollinger Bands (plotted at standard deviation levels above and below moving averages), stock prices tend to stay within the upper and lower bands. So when the prices move above the upper Bollinger Band, are coupled with a bearish candlestick read (gravestone doji, for example), and an extreme overbought %b read is present, we expect a reversal at the top.
Bollinger Bands allow users to compare volatility and relative price levels over a period of time. They consist of three bands:
A simple moving average (SMA) in the middle. . .
An upper band (SMA plus 2 standard deviations). . .
A lower band (SMA minus 2 standard deviations). . .
Standard deviation, a statistical term that provides a good indication of volatility, ensures the bands will react to price movements and reflect periods of high and low volatility. Sharp price increases (or decreases) will lead to a widening of the bands.

Xplornet
is my service provider due to the physical location from which I have to post from.
They have been having some rather large, broad technical issues of which I have been assured, that I'm the only one to be complaining.
I have been able to access the Internet in a fashion likened to 56k dial-up.
It has made the blogging and due diligence for selections and up dates almost unbearable at these mind boggling slow speeds.
Hence the inability to post frequently about nothing has not been a motivation, so I have been waiting to cut the cusp on some of my observations.
This recent string of posts some items I have been sitting on, but feel next week going forward, may be ready for some kind of action.

Kenuck SmallCap Trader Introduction
This is the first post to this off website, "Kenuck SmallCap Trader" blog. This blog is all about collecting links for self-learning individuals interested in becoming On Line Trading Charting Analyst would be'es, and in that direction a website depository for centralized reference was created. This link to that website.... "Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is embedded in this blog's home page in the lower right corner so it will be accessible at all times whenever someone may visit here...
Take a look at the other website work in progress.... " Kenuck SmallCap Trader" ..."Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is a portal built as a course project this year in college that would be a second for my own convenience, where objects of interest could be stored for quick access when I wanted to refresh my memory on certain subjects that were a passion. Flagging and following faster moving stock picks was an even better motivating reason to organize for better trading success.
"Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is a place for my own personal archives on interesting stocks. It morphed into a great place to store information about "On line Trading"... in a way that was never anticipated.
I think everyone should have a web interface. I also think you will find some very interesting links on Charting Analysis, and as well, a portal to links about website building in one of the pages.
"Kenuck SmallCap Trader"site is free... In the future there will be an area in the site for members only, and it will also be free. The pass worded area is just to keep a lid on certain considerations that, at this time have not have developed, but............ as particular developements are posted, the reason for members only would be to allow members to provide content in a private manner. For now all areas of the site are accessible.
You'll notice I use StockCharts as the first choice for technical charting tools, and that is because they are just simply, in my opinion, the best tools for the money. I am a StockCharts fan & subscriber since 2002. I have no other relationship with StockCharts other than being a member.
Links have been provided get to to certain parts of the StockCharts website and other sites that are in the public domain. These links are a matter of convenience for anyone interested that may like to explore the "On Line Trading" subject as these links get right to the point when learning stock trading gorilla style. Any of the links provided are directed at what will likely be your own desired focus, but in case they are not, StockCharts is a great place to play and these links will be great starting points for any type of interest in Charting.
"Kenuck SmallCap Trader" is a work in progress and I update frequently... (including spelling mistakes). My familiarity with StockCharts makes me want to link you to the most recent area of my updates at "Kenuck SmallCap Trader". I was gold digging in the StockCharts archives and found these gems.....
"Basic Charting" links. For the most part I think the subject of interest will stand out if you think charting techniques and individual stock watching. There are, however, other subjects in the StockCharts archived selections that may interest you as well.
StockChart's, Chip Anderson is publishing some of what should be, an interesting series on charting analysis and the link to that series is "Technical Analysis 101 - Part 1"
I gotta admit... he has great insight into the sentiment of today's market... The opening lesson was well prepaird.
